Plug-and-Play and Hardwire Included

The tracker includes a plug-and-play power cable in the box that connects directly to your vehicle’s OBDII diagnostics port, making setup a breeze. No technical expertise is required, and you can have your TMR-S8 GPS tracker up and running in minutes.
For those who prefer a more secure and permanent installation, the TMR-S8 GPS tracker also includes a hardwire power cable in the box. This option allows you to connect the device directly to your vehicle’s electrical system, ensuring a stable and reliable power supply. When using the hardwire, you can also make use of enhanced features such as Inputs, Outputs, Driver ID and the Panic button.

Digital Inputs, Outputs, Driver ID & Panic Button
The TMR-S8 features 2x digital inputs and 2x digital outputs, providing you with even more ways to monitor and control your vehicle.
The digital outputs function as switchable paths to ground, typically used for controlling relays that, in turn, can switch on and off devices within your vehicle. This feature allows you to remotely activate or deactivate equipment’s electrical circuit, such as lights, a horn, or a power take-off (PTO) system, providing you with greater control over your vehicle’s functions.
The digital inputs can sense when a +12V signal is present, allowing you to determine if a particular device in your vehicle is in use. For example, you can monitor the usage of your vehicle’s lights, PTO, or external pump, giving you valuable insights into your vehicle’s operation.
Digital inputs can also be configured and wired into the vehicle with a momentary push button (Optional extra, available in the shop) to provide an in vehicle Panic button. This panic button can then be used to notify their other team members and the account manager via Email, Push and SMS that the driver of the vehicle is in duress, including their location and the time it was pressed.
The TMR-S8 also supports our Driver ID system (Optional extra, available in the shop). Utilising iButton key fobs, which can be used by a driver to tag onto a key fob reader in the vehicle to identify themselves and record their usage of a particular vehicle as its driver.
